Lyric Analysis
I feel like I can connect this song to Myself. I can connect this song to myself because I have lost someone in my life too. My Great grandma died because she had a tumor in her throat and she couldn't really eat. Its Really sad to lose someone you know I knew how Eric Clapton felt like when he lost his son. If I were to say my last words from the lyrics I would say "beyond the door there's peace I'm sure." I believe that in heaven theres peace and I believe thats were shes at right now.
Ever Since I did this analysis I learned more how to listen to music more. I Liked this song a lot because I could connect this song to myself, society, and to the artist (Eric Clapton.) I liked talking about this song a lot. From now on I'm going to listen to songs more and not just singing them.

Tears In Heaven

Would you know my n
ame
If I saw you in heaven
Will it be the same
If I saw you in heaven
I must be strong, and carry on
Cause I know I don't belong
Here in heaven
Would you hold my hand
If I saw you in heaven
Would you help me stand
If I saw you in heaven
I'll find my way, through night and day
Cause I know I just can't stay
Here in heaven
Time can bring you down
Time can bend your knee
Time can break your heart
Have you begging please
Begging please
(instrumental)
Beyond the door
There's peace I'm sure.
And I know there'll be no more...
Tears in heaven
Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven
Will it be the same
If I saw you in heaven
I must be strong, and carry on
Cause I know I don't belong
Here in heaven
Cause I know I don't belong
Here in heaven
